What is Klynke?
Klynke brings time tracking, project visibility, timesheets, and reporting together in one connected workspace built for Microsoft 365 and Teams. It helps teams capture time across projects and activities, understand workload and resource use, compare estimated and actual hours, and turn tracked time into useful insights, all within the Microsoft 365 environment they already use.

Who is Klynke for?
Klynke is designed for organizations that need reliable time and project information while keeping their teams working in Microsoft 365. It is particularly well suited to professional services, IT and technical teams, operations, and project-based organizations.

What does Klynke integrate with?
Klynke integrates with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Microsoft Planner, Excel, Microsoft Entra ID, and SharePoint. It uses Microsoft 365 identity, security, and infrastructure capabilities to provide a connected experience across the tools your organization already uses.

 

Time Tracking & Timesheets

How does Klynke track time?
You can log time directly in Microsoft Teams and record it across projects, tasks, and activities. Outlook calendar events can also be used as a starting point for time entries, which you can review and adjust before saving.

Can I customize timesheets?
Yes. Klynke lets you review, organize, filter, approve, and export time data to support your organization's processes and reporting  requirements.

Can I export timesheets to Excel?
Yes. Time data can be exported to Excel for billing, reporting, analysis, and other business needs.

What is the difference between the Standard and Customizable Timesheet?
The Standard Timesheet uses a ready-made Excel format for everyday reporting. The Customizable Timesheet lets you use your own Excel template, including your preferred fields, column layout, formatting, and branding.

Can I use my own Excel template?
Yes. With the Customizable Timesheet, you can use your own Excel template so exported time data follows your organization's reporting format.

 

Projects & Planning

How does Klynke work with Microsoft Planner?
Klynke connects Microsoft Planner tasks with Klynke projects, bringing planned work and recorded time together. This helps you compare planned work with actual time and identify differences that may need attention.

Can I compare planned and actual time?
Yes. Klynke lets you compare estimated and actual time to understand project progress and identify differences early. Klynke brings assigned work, deadlines, project progress, and recorded time together to help you understand workload and capacity. 

 

Microsoft 365 & Security

How does Klynke handle my organization’s data?
Klynke is designed to work within your organization’s Microsoft 365 environment. Customer business data is stored within your Microsoft 365 tenant, primarily in SharePoint Online, and Klynke does not maintain a separate database containing a copy of this data. Your organization remains in control of its Microsoft 365 environment, including users, permissions, access controls, and retention settings.

How is user access managed?
Users sign in with their existing Microsoft identity. Klynke supports Microsoft Entra ID and Single Sign-On (SSO) for secure access.

What permissions does Klynke require?
During setup, a Global Administrator reviews the permissions required by Klynke and grants administrator consent. This allows Klynke to securely connect to the required Microsoft 365 365 services.

 

Getting Started & Pricing

How do I get started with Klynke?
Start the 30-day free trial through Microsoft Marketplace. A Global Administrator then reviews and grants the required permissions.  The Klynke Administrator can then assign licenses and add users.

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Klynke includes a 30-day free trial with full functionality. Microsoft requires a payment card for verification, but you will not be charged during the trial.

How much does Klynke cost?
After the trial, Klynke costs $2.49 per user per month. Every user has access to the complete Klynke feature set, with no feature-based pricing tiers.

How is Klynke purchased and billed?
Klynke is purchased and billed through Microsoft Marketplace. You can let the 30-day trial end or continue with a recurring subscription. See Pricing
