What’s in a Name?
The name Klynke was inspired by the old Nordic word klinka, a latch that connects things while letting them move independently. We loved the symbolism: a simple mechanism that keeps everything aligned without getting in the way. That idea shaped the name, even though Klynke isn’t a direct derivative of klinka. It reflects how Klynke works today: seamlessly integrated into Microsoft 365 and Teams, while staying flexible, lightweight, and easy to use. Most people emphasize the first syllable, but we’re happy with however you say it.
